Olav Liljekrans

Olav Liljekrans (1960) was an opera production by The Norwegian National Opera. Olav Liljekrans was based on an opera by Arne Eggen, after Henrik Ibsen’s play of the same title. The production was performed by The Norwegian National Opera in Folketeateret.

The director was Ivo Cramér.

Bjarne Buntz performed the title role. He had performed the same role in the work’s premiere at the National Theatre in 1940.

Kari Frisell performed the role of Audhild, "The Jostedal grouse".
