Lysistrata

Lysistrata (1981) was a theatre production by The National Theatre, based on the comedy by Aristophanes. It was performed in the theatre's venue Amfiscenen (The Amphi Stage).

Stavros Doufexis directed it.

The production was performed with large theatre masks, and the leading female roles were played by men.

Per Theodor Haugen played the role of Lysistrata.
