Living Secretly
Living Secretly (2012) is a collaboration project between The Samovar Theatre AKA Samovarteateret AKA The Samovar and Franzisca Aarflot Productions, based on a text by Jon Fosse and with music written by Johan Sara Jr.
Franzisca Aarflot directed it.
He tries to remember, he tries to forget. He would like to be seen, but not understood. For to be seen is important – is it not?
Living Secretly is a production in the intersection between dance and concert. This is Jon Fosse in a different way.
Living Secretly is a subtle text, written as a monologue for a (perhaps elderly) man. He reflects on the mystery of memory and the modern person's need to show off, to be seen, to tell his or her story.
