Birdie
Birdie (2016) is a theatre production by Agrupación Señor Serrano, based on the movie The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock, in a theatrical adaption by Àlex Serrano, Pau Palacios and Ferran Dordal. The production will be performed at Cornerteateret during Bergen International Festival 2018.
Àlex Serrano directs it.
During Bergen International Festival, Birdie is performed in English without subtitles.
Bergen International Festival also arranges a public conversation with basis in Birdie. The conversation will take place at Bergen Public Library. The panel will consist of director Alex Serrano Tarragó, performer Pau Palacios, film critic Aksel Kielland and theatre critic Therese Bjørneboe.

On the other hand, stocked supermarkets, safe streets, family stability, good health services, freedom, paid work, respect for human rights, welfare, recycling and renewable energies, prosperity, social mobility...
And in between, flocks of birds.

Birdie is a multimedia performance with live video, objects, Hitchcock's The Birds revisited, scale models, 2000 mini animals, wars, smugglers, a massive migration and three performers handling this messy world with wit, criticism and commitment with humankind."
