The Tales of Hoffmann
The Tales of Hoffmann (1963) was an opera production by The Norwegian National Opera. The Tales of Hoffmann was based on the opera Les contes d’Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach (music) and Michel Carré and Jules Barber (libretto). The production was performed by The Norwegian National Opera in Folketeateret.
The director was Holger Boland.
Egil Frostmann, Arne Hendriksen and Ragnar Ulfung performed the role of Hoffmann.
Ruth Linge performed the role of Olympia.
Kari Frisell performed the role of Antonia – Ingeborg Kjellgren performed the role later.
Astrid Herseth performed the role of Giulietta.
