The man at the tramstop is a dance production by Toyboys, represented by Terje Tjøme Mossige and Ulf Nilseng.
It is based on texts by Alf Prøysen, interpreted through a gay perspective. The man at the tramstop is the company's fifth production.

"In The man at the tramstop Toyboys wanted to contribute to a more fluent understanding of identity and acceptance of several parallel existing gender categories, not limiting, but expanding our perceptions of ourselves and others. The company wishes to raise awareness of being different and to provide a wider perspective of gender.
The autumn of 2011 The man at the tramstop was touring with The Norwegian Touring Theatre.
The production is supported by Arts Council Norway, The Fund for Performing Artists, The Audio Visual Fund and the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs/MFA (travel grant/performing arts).
The man at the tramstop is the second part of the trilogy Toyboys goes queer writers.
In the first part, Non stop – soundless, Toyboys worked with Jean Genet. In the third part, To be natural is such a very difficult pose to keep up, they work with Oscar Wilde in addition to the philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty."
