At the webpage of The National Theatre the following, among other things, is written about Strategier for en lysere fremtid* (Strategies for a brighter future):

"A couple in love prepares for the apocalypse and has hidden in a bunker in the wilderness. They have gathered all they need to survive in an undefined period of time. They do not know how things are at the surface any longer, and they do not go up to check. They know that the world may go under at any time. If it hasn't already.

The two build a machine to create humans. The humans are pushed to the outermost limits so that the two in the bunker may come up with some answers - because they think that all insight is a result of intense crises.

The National Theatre has a long tradition in hiring young and promising talents. Strategier for en lysere fremtid is the diploma assignment of director Angelina Josephine Stojčevska at the direction study of Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Stojčevska finds it vulgar to create theatre without relating to a world in crisis. Strategier for en lysere fremtid is absurd, but the director finds that there is something for everyone to recognise. She calls the genre hyperrealism - realism more realistic than realism.

Strategier for en lysere fremtid is a story about wanting to air out meaninglessness. It is a story about indifference, hatred and fighting one's way out of the garbage, armed with garbage. It is a story about coldness and humour. It is a story about losers, written by losers, for losers. Strategier for en lysere fremtid is about two persons who attempt the most hopeful project there is in a hopeless world; to be together while the world disrupts."
