Around the World in Eighty Minutes

Around the World in Eighty Minutes (2006) was a puppetry production by The Norwegain Theatre, the world premiere of a family performance by Jo Strømgren, in part inspired by Jules Verne's Around the World in Eighty Days. The production went on tour the autumn of 2006, with its tour opening in Melhus September 2.

Jo Strømgren directed it.

Around the World in Eighty Minutes marked the 30th anniversary for The Norwegian Touring Theatre's puppetry division. Christine Stoesen had been an employee for all of the 30 years. In Around the World in Eighty Minutes, she was the puppeteer leading the puppet Jon.
