At the webpage of The Norwegian Touring Theatre the following, among other things, was written about Peer, du lyver!* (Peer, you're lying):

"Peer, du lyver! is the story about a little boy with big dreams. Perhaps he is the world's biggest liar? He wants a friend, but is shut out by the other kids in his year. In his search for truth about who he is, he finds a friend who becomes fatally important to him.

- I want to tell a story with a hopeful ending, encouraging children to dare to follow their dreams and believe in themselves, director Jakob Höglund says."
