Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was a theatre production by The National Theatre, produced in 1956, and based on the drama by Tennessee Williams.

Gerda Ring directed it.

Liv Dommersnes and Knut Wigert interpreted the roles of Margaret - Maggie - and Brick. The two of them were later to play the roles of Brick's parents, when The National Theatre staged Cat on a Hot Tin Roofagain in 1988.
