Nothing grows by moonlight

Nothing grows by moonlight was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre, produced in 1982 and based on a novel by Torborg Nedraas, adapted for the theatre by Ragnhild Hilt. It was a world premiere, and it was performed at The Norwegian Theatre's Scene 2, in Rosenkrantzgaten.

Sverre Udnæs directed it.

Ragnhild Hilt performed the monologue.

Nothing grows by moonlight went on tour with The Norwegian Touring Theatre the autumn of 1982, 11 performances. It went on a new tour with The Norwegian Touring Theatre the spring of 1983, 17 performances.

During her career Ragnhild Hilt performed three versions of this monologue, all of them at The Norwegian Theatre, the last shortly before her death in 2014. The 1982 version was the first one, and the second version was performed in 1996.
