Nord-Trøndelag Theatre provides the following information about The Mystery of Irma Vep:

"We are at a mansion far out at the windy, English heaths. Here lives Lord Edgar Hillcrest with his faithful housekeeper Jane, and the hunch-back farm boy Nicodemus. The lord is happily newly married to the young actress Lady Enid. She has replaced his last wife, Lady Irma, who disappeared mysteriously, with no explanation.

As the full moon illuminates the mansion and a scary wolf howl is heard far away, a terrible tragedy from the past haunts the newly married...

Dag Vågsås and Ketil Kolstad play a number of male and female roles, fluttering in and out of the stage at a pace which will take your breath away. Dag Vågsås is one of our foremost comedy actors, with a long life within revue and comedy onstage, for TV and in movies. The theatre's artistic director and actor Ketil Kolstad is to find as his co-actor. Hanne Brincker is the director, and builds on the experiences she made as director of The 39 steps. On the top team are stage designer Even Børsum and costume designer Cårejånni Enderud, the latter also responsible for masks."
