The dance production Surprised Body Project (2010) by Wee takes active use of the international work of musicians and dancers. The core company of performers is expanded at different performance stays and visiting performances.

Surprised Body Project by Wee is inspired by the potential in letting oneself be surprised and affected. When the dancers move, they open up to surprising themselves and others. They continuously consider their ability and will to influence others and to be influenced by others. But for the audience the examination may be perceived as a wholly different dance, physically, musically, humorously.
Surprised Body Project by Wee was supported by Arts Council Norway, The Audio Visual Fund, The Fund for Performing Artists, The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (travel grant, performing arts), Italian Institute of Culture of Buenos Aires, Italian Institute of Culture New Delhi, Nordic-Baltic mobility program and Dansmakers Amsterdam.
