Roadkills

Roadkills is a production by Akershus Theatre in collaboration with Dramatikkens hus.

The text is written by Cecilie Løveid.

Roadkills is a production in the intersection between dance and theatre.

The production springs out from a story about a girl caring for animals killed in traffic. She picks them up from the side of the road and brings them home to make necklaces of them.

Roadkills takes place in dance, in poetry and at the side of the road. It takes place in the night and during dawn.

Press coverage

Writer and date unknown, Barnebokkritikk:

"It is important to treat such a theme as mourning, also for children and youth, and it is important to do it in such a way we can manage to enter it at an emotional level, while relating to it, rather than drowning in emotion."
