Minus Two
Minus Two (2011) was a theatre production by The National Theatre. Minus Two was the Norwegian premiere of the play by Samuel Benchetrit. The production was staged at The Amphi Stage.
The director was Nils Ole Oftebro.
Per Jansen interpreted the role of Paul. This was his farewell performance as a steadily employed actor at The National Theatre. Sverre Anker Ousdal acted in the role of Julius.
The production was revived in 2015, with the same cast, except for one change: Herman Bernhoft took over the roles Anders Mordal and Ole Johan Skjelbred had acted in each their parts of the 2011 run.

At the website of The National Theatre (2015) the following is written about Minus Two:
"Paul and Julius are in-bed patients at the same hospital. They are both shortly to die. What do you do when it is already too late? Well, one runs off. In an absurd flight from the hospital, chained to drips and intravenous tubes we get to know two men who have in common that they are dying, but still have a lot left undone - and a lot they have yet to understand. Women, for instance.
Minus Two is a poetic comedy touching the essence of being a human. Life, death, love and fear are interwoven in a seemingly simple plot. Through a number of humorous, beautiful and sad scenes it is revealed who Paul and Julius are. Both of them have skeletons in their closets and they have not always made the wisest of choices."
