Ida Holten Worsøe

Ida Holten Worsøe (born in Bærum July 14 1981) is a Norwegian actress.

Ida Holten Worsøe was educated within dance at the dance theatre academy DT-Danseteater in Copenhagen (2001) and within theatre and musicals at Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg (2002 to 2005).

She has been a ballet pedagogue, singing teacher and instructor.

The autumn of 2003 she acted in Appelsinene på Fagerborg* (The Fagerborg Oranges) by Lars Saabye Christensen at Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre), and in 2004 she performed the 'one girl's' musical Sannheten om Susi* (The Truth about Susi). The latter she also directed.

The autumn of 2004 she took part in Jul i Blåfjell* (Christmas in The Blue Mountain) at Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre), and the autumn of 2005 she had her first role at Hålogaland Theatre, where she took part in Benoni and Rosa, the dramatisation of Knut Hamsun's novels opening the new theatre house.

Ida Holten Worsøe was nominated for The Hedda Award 2007 in the category of best leading actress for the role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret by Masteroff/Kander/Ebb, Hålogaland Theatre, and she was nominated for The Hedda Award 2006 in the category of best supporting actress for the role of Marcela in the Spanish comedy classic The Dog in the Manger by Lope de Vega, also at Hålogaland Theatre.

Her roles since include Roxie Hart in Chicago (Hålogaland Theatre 2008) and one of the roles in Jo Strømgren Kompani's The Border (2001).
